Introduction on Prof. Xu Nianxing:

    Professor Xu Nianxing is the winner of the One Hundred Excellent Doctoral Theses Award in China, part of the first batch of top-notch young talents of the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, young scholar of the Yangtze River Scholar Award Program of the Ministry of Education, and the winner of the Excellent Youth Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He graduated from the School of Management of Xiamen University in 2007, engaged in postdoctoral research in Guanghua School of Management of Peking University from 2007 to 2009, and was a visiting scholar of Yale University in 2014. He is currently a Professor and doctoral supervisor in the Department of Finance, School of Business, Renmin University of China. His research fields mainly focus on corporate finance, corporate governance, stock price collapse risk, stock price synchronization, analyst behavior, and more. He published many papers in Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Banking & Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of accounting, Auditing and Finance, European Financial Management, Management International Review, Economic Research, Management World, Journal of Management Science Economics (quarterly), and other first-class financial journals in China and abroad. His academic achievements won the first and third prizes of Outstanding Achievements in Humanities and Social Sciences Research in Chinese Universities, the Best Paper Award of the China Finance Association (TCFA), the Best Paper Award of International and Domestic Academic Conferences such as China International Conference in Finance (CICF), Financial Conference of China, and so on. He has presided over a number of national, provincial, and ministerial-level scientific research projects.
