Fifth Lecture at the MPAcc Center – Theoretical Issues on Asset Management in China

On the evening of December 2, 2017, from 18:30 to 20:30, Liu Ruijie, Director of Asset Management Department of the Ministry of Finance, was invited by the MPACC Center of BTBU to give an academic lecture. As an off-campus practical tutor of MPAcc of Research Institute for Fiscal Science, Ministry of Finance, P. R. China and BTBU, Director Liu gave a wonderful cutting-edge academic lecture entitled “Theoretical Issues on Asset Management in China”. The lecture was hosted by Associate Professor Liu Ting, Executive Director of the MPAcc Center. Students majoring in MPAcc, MAcc, MSc Financial Management, MBA, and other majors participated in the study.
Based on the basic theory of assets, Director Liu explained the relevant natures, differences, classifications, theories of asset management, reporting systems, and other related knowledge of government assets and state-owned assets. Moreover, he also discussed the practical issues commonly existing in current practice.
